Hanging out around home

Mom took me shopping at Target this morning and says I was an angel. But she says she can't help me work and take pictures of me at the same time. So she took more pics of me playing w/ my bff Hershey. We tell each other all about our humans and discuss ways to get more and better treats.
Annie was posing for mom cuz mom was playing with the camera.

IKEA trip

My class went to Ikea

There were so many people and dogs we didn't all fit in one picture
Here's the other half
Here is Baron with his parents
We had to work hard tonight on different surfaces, going up and down stairs, and getting our "leave it"s down. The good thing about working is getting paid.

Parent Weekend

This was parent weekend at my sister's school. We didn't get pictures of lunch, but we all got to sit outside at tables. I was under the table. Everyone was really nice to me at the school. Later I went shopping at Wal-mart to help Z get the stuff she needed. Then we chilled at our hotel for a little while.

I gave extra kisses and snuggles since it was her birthday.

Sometimes I have to work really hard... (LOL)

When dinner was over we went to a Fernando Ortega concert. My dad REALLY likes him. Everyone enjoyed the concert.
I got a little nervous about all the clapping, but Elizabeth wouldn't let me sit in her lap. The hardest part was the standing ovation, but I didn't draw attention or bark, so Mom was not upset with me. Not too many people even knew I was in the concert.
My sister's friends bought her these beautiful flowers. Don't they look good next to me? I thought they looked delicious!
My sister opened presents over the phone because the web cam didn't get hooked up. Mom says, "oops!"
Except for lunch on Sunday when the restaurant denied me access, it was a great trip. My mom says some people just haven't learned the importance of service dogs yet, or how important my job as a puppy is. Lunch time on a busy Sunday didn't seem a good time to tell them, so I waited elsewhere while they ate. Mom brought me ice water.
When I got home more of my favorite people were here and Annie seemed happy to see me.

AWANA games

AWANA is a program at church for children ages 4 years old through sixth grade. They learn Bible verses and have fun. This is a good place to bring a puppy because she is learning to sit quietly during the memory work and to "leave it" when the kids are playing and loud. Since the weather is nice, game time was outside tonight for the first AWANA of the season.

A Rainbow of Dogs

Our neighbor, Hershey, was out, so Annie and I went over to say "hi."

Lightning with her sister Lia and Rocky (their dad)

Our dad came to our class tonight.

This was when I first met my dad. It was supposed to be a picture, but a video sometimes tells even more. ;-)

Home Again only Bigger than I was

Here I am next to Annie... I'm catching up! Look how much longer my legs are in just five days
Did you notice I'm in my new collar? Annie looks like my shadow here.
Once we realized we get paid for the photo shoot we were more cooperative.
Annie still wouldn't get too close to me because she figured I would want to bite her ears playfully... she hates that.

It was a lot of fun to play with Opal, but it's good to be home.
Mom says I may travel again sometime soon!

Random Feet Pictures

Random feet pictures show that Lightning's paws are almost as big as Annie's, but the pads are still much smaller.

Grandpa's "Disney" dogs filling in for Lightning

Andrea found Daisy's spot.
It was hard to catch a photo of Pluto without motion, but she has a lab face and is shaped like Mickey Mouse's dog. She has some brindling in her coat.

Arts & Apples Day 2

Kissing strangers to earn college money? Yuck!.... I liked kissing the babies though... many of them were sticky and tasted like snowcones or candy.
Halo did so much smooching she fell asleep and still got smooched in her sleep.
Even Cooley was taking smooches. Other pups helped pay for his college and he is helping raise money for our college. He is really nice, but mom wouldn't let me play with him.
Cisco is a demo dog and teaches people about PAWS with a Cause. Sirius does too, but mom was so busy with Sirius that she forgot to get a picture of him. They can do really cool stuff that I want to do too like get the phone, and pick up money and paper. Mom says I have to wait until I go to college and they will let me do those things. I can't wait!
People really like to smooch dogs that are dressed up, so Halo's mom got her some goggles and a bib that says, "I'm a hug waiting to happen."

Working Hard at Arts & Apples

This was my first time at an official PAWS booth.
Chris and I manned the kissing booth for a while.
Halo's mom dressed her up.
People put money in this fake dog's head.
This is Rumor. She was mostly at the kissing booth. She liked it a lot and everybody wanted to smooch her. We were earning money to help pay our coming college bills.
Chris and me took a time out.
While Halo and I waited for our mom's to set up the booth we wrestled. It was a load of fun and we didn't want to stop ever.
This is Halo in the x-pen waiting to work. We got each other pretty dirty, but we are washable.
Rumor was being silly with Aussie's mom in between kissing customers.
My mom is always taking pictures of me cuz she says I'm pretty. I guess mom's always say stuff like that.
