Last Days Home....

My final job with Mom was to cheer up Miss Jane at Beaumont. I knew she needed a hug.
Me and Friday put our easter bunny ears on to get a smile.
Friday took a turn too. Those Laker kids LOVE Miss Jane, but then who doesn't? We all love Miss Jane.
Mom held Friday's paw up to mine to see whose is bigger. We're close, but I think I beat him. When you consider he's only 14 weeks old, he has big feet.
My sister Lia and I said good-bye on Tuesday at our class. She now outweighs me by 8 lbs. She was such a little thing when we were babies.
Packing is hard work!
Is there a foster puppy union? I think making me scrub floors is TOO much!!!
Today I went to live with Miss Gail. My birthday is Tuesday, so I'm not quite a year old. I am off to college next month.

Irish Princesses

Mom says I have some Irish blood. She does too. But I guess everyone is a little Irish on St.Patrick's Day. Even my sister Annie.
May the Road Rise up to meet you
May the wind always be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face...
And the rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again...
May God hold you in the palm of His hand. (Irish blessing)
Top o' the mornin' to you...
Annie and I hope you have Irish stew, shepherd's pie, and corned beef with cabbage...
OK, really we wish we got some of that stuff, but we do wish you a
VERY HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY !

Friday the 13th

My little buddy Friday came over and made my Friday the 13th fun. Last month was fun too - I was with my brother on the 13th. Humans have some weird ideas.
Friday and I wrestled so much we started wrestling lying down to conserve energy.
This picture is not turned on the computer, but blogger seems to like it this way. You'll just have to tilt your head to the right to see how cute we are.
Today I am off on an adventure with Andrea!

Lightning stops home briefly

If you look close you can see Friday in the background. Mom hasn't gotten a lot of pix since I got home because I've been busy and so has she. I came home Monday and Tuesday we met Friday. He visited us Wednesday and Andrea asked me to wear him out. I happily obliged. Tomorrow I am off to visit my half-brother, Felix. Mom says all this visiting will build my confidence. I am just having fun! The best thing this time is that my half brother will be there to play with!
I was trying to explain to Mom that she should put the camera down and just give me the treat.

Snow face

Mom took these pics a couple days ago, but we got more snow today and expect even more.
Next week it is supposed to get BITTER COLD. Mom is not happy about that.

Personally I like winter and snow a LOT!
Grown-ups don't seem to understand FUN.

Travels

My sister Elizabeth is going to Africa, so I thought I would too, but Mom won't let me.
I'm gonna miss you Elizabeth.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Here is an action shot of me playing with Annie in the snow.

Boy do we have fun! Snow is awesome! ... I wonder why Mom doesn't think so?

Laying around the house

Mom is studying and I am chewing on a kong with peanut butter and other delicious stuff in it. Mom shoved a nylabone in there too to make it more fun to chew. YUMMMIE!

Thanksgiving weekend

The best thing about this weekend is my college kids were home and Dan and Andrea were around and Joy came to visit and we got some new treats for when I work.

This is my sister Zabdu. I visited her college before, but I think I may want to major in shoes and that is not offered there. I will probably go where Mom's first foster goes... University of PAWS. They have some majors that really interest me. I will probably start as an undeclared major because it is a tough choice between shoes, laundry, bracing, hearing and more.

Mom and Annie... Annie must be the favorite because I got in trouble for stealing her breakfast. I stole it fair and square!

Our heat is out today, so everyone is going to try to get me to warm them up. They work me like a slave around here. I am willing though if they give me a piece of turkey liver or a dried banana or sweet potato... yummmmmmmmmmmm!!!

SNOW... SNOW... SNOW... SNOW... SNOW...

Wow!!! It's like ice cubes everywhere and they are one of my favorite foods! This stuff is awesome! Even Annie likes it and goes zoomie. I don't know why Mom doesn't?
It was pretty confusing when the kids were yelling and falling but having fun. Me and Annie ran and ran and ran. Mom said my tummy is probably cold, but I didn't notice because it was so weird and cold and fun fun fun.

Playing with my sister

Just to be clear - This was before I had surgery. Mom wouldn't risk letting us play rough while I'm healing. In fact I am B-O-R-E-D. I can't wait til I can RUN my fastest again!

Lightning just playing in the backyard

It's a beautiful day here, so my mom took some pictures of Me, Annie, and Hershey.
This was Annie telling Mom not to take her picture.
Hershey was telling me a secret... shhhh
Mom and I were playing
Hershey, Me, and a bunch of leaves... they are really fun to chase when the wind blows them.

Hershey's tie out and my tie out let us get close enough to play but not close enough to tangle.
This is the tree we play under.

Helping Out around the House

Mom doesn't like me to pick up shoes, but someone is always leaving them out. I try to do my share of work around here.
I'm always willing to destroy any excess cookies so they don't leave crumbs on the rug. :-)
This shirt needed to go into the laundry. I thought I would help.
