Kingsley still filling in - Friday 080808

Here I am again! I was running around in the backyard with Annie this morning, so Lightning's mom took some pictures of us.

Look at how fast I can run!My ears were just flying!

I win! I got the nylabone!
Annie danced with me some.
Downhill.... whee!
Around the little tree.
I love rolling in grass! Doesn't everybody!
Still handsome as ever!

Kingsley Blogging for Lightning - Thurs Aug 7th

This is a big tree in Lightning's backyard. A good place to photograph a very handsome dog!
Can you see Annie, she kind of blends in to the tree trunk.

Lightning's mom took a close-up of me.

I lost a tooth today, can you see where? Actually I think it was on the top.

Handsome at every angle!

Not to worry, Lightning. I am taking good care of your family while you are away and trust you are taking good care of mine.

Kingsley Standing in for Lightning

Lightning is on a week's vacation and I am standing in for her blog.

My Profile: My name is Kingsley and I am from the "K" Litter. Like Lightning, I am being raised to be a service dog. I am four and a half months old, born March 16, 2008. My mom is Jaimie (black lab) and my dad is Laker (yellow lab with carmel tipped ears like mine). I was the smallest in the litter with the nickname Michigan. I have been working very hard on growing and have caught up to my big brother Kirby who was Red. My brother Karson has a blog too and you can see it on the list of blogs on this site. I don't see brother Kenya or my sisters much because they live on the west side of the state.

This week we have some normal days planned, but are going to try to get together w/ one of my brothers on the weekend and maybe sneak in some fun stuff along the weekdays.
I am enjoying Lightning's toys.

Wheelchair Daze at Independence Oaks

This is me with Macy. She's one of my heroes! She gets to do all the stuff my mom won't let me do yet like carry shoes and help with the housework and laundry. Macy is also a famous movie star!
The lady in the pictures below is Aunt Jane. She's Ukon's person. She gave us belly rubs. Nelson is my friend Nobel's brother. Ukon huddled us three little puppies together to give us some tips for getting more treats. I guess he's good at it because he is nicknamed You Con Man.

Aunt Sara raised Caper and now he has a forever person named Nicole. He had both of them and his other momma at the picnic.

This is me under a bench to stay cool and my friend Cooley.

Nelson was staying in the shade too and the service dogs were having a party under the table.
My sister Elizabeth got me this way cool treat called a snowcone. Hers was blue and turned her mouth colors, but mine was white and the best thing for a hot day! Yaaay snowcones!

Everyone was chillin and talking and the humans were eating stuff that smelled great, but they wouldn't share that. They did give us snowcones though.

My friend Aussie's mom put balloons on her head for pictures. It was funny and Aussie didn't seem to mind it.

They had boats that could take wheel chairs. That was cool because everyone that wanted to could go for a ride.

Little baby, Nivea came on the boat too. She was really cute, especially when she was laughing and smiling and trying on Audrey's sunglasses.

After the boat ride we hung out in the pavillion for a while. There was a nice breeze and it was out of the sun, so I fell sound asleep. We took pictures before everyone left. The golden dogs had a harder time sitting still than the other three.

My Mom Is MEAN!
