More About My Name

My official name is Lightning, but my whole name is Lucky Lightning Bug. Just after I was born my foster family found out I was going to come live with them. They didn't know if it was going to be me (Pink) or my sister Lia (Purple). My big sister Elizabeth was at college but has always wanted to name a puppy Lucky. When she found out we were the "L" litter she really wanted me to be named Lucky. My mom and my brother Chris didn't like that name as much and decided to name me Lightning. Mom agreed I could be called Lucky Lightning. They say with me they have struck pure gold... or at least pure golden. Bug is supposed to be a term of endearment because I am so cute. Anyway, here I am... Lucky Lightning Bug!
