A New Home

I love my new person and got a chance to see Gail and Ren again on Saturday which was wonderful! It seems fitting that my new job will involve working on a college campus! Gail took some pictures and we will post them for you if we get the OK. I am just soooo excited to be doing the job I was born to do!!!

Visiting

I got to spend some time with Andrea this week.

She made me listen like Mom does, but I like to snuggle, so I didn't mind.

I met Andrea's friend Brittany.
I tried to help with Andrea's homework, but it was sooo boring I fell asleep.
Me and Andrea had to work. I like Andrea's work. Here I am on the job!
Here are some videos of us...

Marley & Me to raise money for my college

Everyone knows college is expensive, at least that's what my foster parents say and they should know with three kids, Mom, and one dog (Cheetah) all going to different Universities. We puppies help out with fundraising all we can and our future parents are not stuck with debt. Our education is paid by the time we graduate.
My big sister Elizabeth was home on break and helping too. She is going to Africa in a week.Cisco is a demo dog who does really cool stuff with field rep Ellen. Jackie was there too and Andrea and Aunt Becky with Karson...
I don't mind my job and I am well paid.
Lots of people were learning about PAWS and helping with our fundraiser.
I have been sweet talking strangers and it works pretty well. Someone gave me money, but my sister took it and gave it to Kevin. It tasted different for sure.
Later our parents got food and Karson and I went under the table.
As you can see I was tired by then and the floor was comfy.
Today I went to see the movie Marley & Me. He sure did know how to have fun!

More of the Mall Pictures

We met some little people with balloons that wanted to shake our paws... that is the people, not the balloons wanted to shake paws.
One of these days I just want to run top speed up and down the whole mall.
The balloons didn't really bother me. I just wanted to reach the little people.
These pictures are from the same mall trip Friday, but Tresa's mom took them for my mom.

Working Hard at Somerset with my Friends

My class went to a big fancy mall to work. It was snowy out, so not too many people were there.
My sister Lia and I got a chance to visit. If you can't tell, I'm on the left.

Here we are... L to R at the far end was Lia, then Seymour (spelling?), Tresa, Joplin, and Me. Mom says SEMI needs more black dogs, but we are a great looking bunch. The handsome Joplin-

Beautiful little Tresa-

Seymour modeling the new cape- Me, Lightning -

At the end there were kids dressed up waiting to see Santa and grown-ups that wanted to ask about us and shake our paws.

Lightning Teaches School

Tresa and I did a presentation to over 100 elementary school students this morning with Doreen. We are teaching about PAWS with a Cause and how the puppies are raised. The kids are going to help raise money to pay our college Tuition.
This wolf was by the school office and made me a little nervous. Tresa was not even a little scared of him, so I went up there too. Mom put a treat on his nose and he didn't even eat it or growl when I knocked it off, so I wasn't scared anymore. Who's afraid of a big bad wolf? Not Tresa, and NOT ME!
I kinda wanted to take his hat, but mom said "leave it."

Football again at FORD FIELD

We had the opportunity to go to Ford Field for another football game.
This was a college game, so there were fewer people and we got to sit closer. I was awesome! I didn't even... you know... b-r-e-a-k... til we got outside in a good spot.
I don't know if you can tell there was a marching band on the field behind me. They played before the game and at half-time. I wasn't sure about the loud noises, but a few cookies and I will tolerate most anything.

By the end I was even sleeping a little.

I hope you reminded your people to vote!

Mom didn't want to get yelled at for taking my picture in the voting booth, but I was a good girl and voted today! Later I made up for having been so good. >;~)>

Since we didn't get a picture today Mom decided to post my Fourth of July picture.

Starbucks gave free coffee to people who voted, so we stopped there on the way home.
When I get bigger I am voting for more treats! ;-D

Crazy Hat night at AWANA

How do you like my tiger hat?
These are some of the games I watched...

The red ball in the center came right by my nose, but I did a great "leave it" for Mom... well, and for a cookie. ;-)

Lots of people had really weird hats on, but my mom had camera problems and didn't get to shoot most of them.

This was me watching and wishing I could play too.

There's a picture of me on the Lions website!

www.detroitlions.com/fanphotos
Choose event date October 5th Bears vs Lions game.
Then choose Gallery 16.
I'm the only dog on the page. We're number 31 of 50, so around the middle of the page.

October Weekend

On Saturday Mom needed a break from homework, so we went on a walk with Dad and Annie.
Annie wouldn't sit with us... she was confused about why we were taking pix when there were great smells to investigate.
This is me with my foster dad... Rocky is my dad.
I love to help out around the house.
Sunday we went to see a football game... Bears vs. Lions guess who won???
Bears 34 to 7! That made my parents happy!

I finally went to sleep by my mom. Its hard to sleep with all that noise. Also, there is gum stuck to the ground that nobody wants. My mom wouldn't let me eat it, but I don't know why. Mom says I did great... except for that little incident as we were leaving the stadium... she says my bladder will get bigger when I am older.
