I got home Saturday during a snowstorm... Felix and I would have had a blast playing in all that snow. Sunday afternoon Friday came over and played and then we went to Subway.

When I visited my half-brother Felix his mom took some pictures of me. I got to do a presentation at Spencer's school and Felix and I played and played. Felix is a nice brother.

Lightning stops home briefly

If you look close you can see Friday in the background. Mom hasn't gotten a lot of pix since I got home because I've been busy and so has she. I came home Monday and Tuesday we met Friday. He visited us Wednesday and Andrea asked me to wear him out. I happily obliged. Tomorrow I am off to visit my half-brother, Felix. Mom says all this visiting will build my confidence. I am just having fun! The best thing this time is that my half brother will be there to play with!

Halo signing off

This is Halo's last day to fill in for Lightning. Here she is with Annie.

Everytime Halo is fed she poses as she makes eye contact so I had to get a picture before releasing her to eat.

Halo is going to make someone a great service dog someday. She will be going to college on the first Monday is April.

It wasn't as cold today, so I went out front while Lightning's dad cleared the driveway.

I totally love snow. Brenda and Andrea were laughing at me when instead of going break in the snowbank at the store I started to tunnel in. :-D

Halo's Friday

We hung out in the morning and then I went to work with Lightning's mom for the afternoon. She brought in the crate, but I was laying so nicely she let me stay out for the most part.

"Work" is pretty boring. I did a lot of sleeping.

All of the girls wore red today for women's heart health.

When we got home from work I rested for a while in the snow.

Then... we picked up Chris and went shopping. It was hard in the pet store because there was a leader dog in the store. Then there were several pets and we walked down the rawhide and bones aisle. Thankfully Chris had lots of treats to help me out. Lightning's mom said I did a good job and she was proud of me. I played with Annie a little, but after supper I took a nap.

Halo standing in for Lightning

Hello, my name is Halo and I was born last year on February 29th. Lightning and I are swapping for the week. Wednesday night we went to AWANA and it was race car night. Thursday Andrea came over and we went shopping. Lightning and Friday are going to be the best dressed dogs in Clarkston!

Today I'm planning to go to work with Lightning's mom. I don't know yet what we are going to do on the weekend. Monday night there is a foster puppy outing... sounds fun!

Around the house

We're just waiting around for winter to end...

Meanwhile I have plans to hang with friends for a few weeks.

Tomorrow my friend Halo is coming over to stay for a week. Unfortunately we won't see each other because I'm going to stay at her house for a week.

I wish that groundhog was here in Clarkston... hehehe

Mom is so confusing... she says I'm coming home with Friday, but I'm coming home on a Tuesday...

Karson blogging for Lightning who is away for the week...

Lightning and I are on a puppy swap. My brother Kingsley was here a few months back. I am Karson of the Jaimie X Laker Special K litter. I am 10 months old. You can find a link to my blog here on Lightning's site.

So Monday Chris and Lightning's mom were both home. We mostly hung out at the house. I went to the video store with them.

Tuesday we didn't get to go to class like we had planned, so we went to the mall. Andrea worked me and didn't let me slack. Later she gave me snuggles though. I love that girl.

Wednesday night I went to AWANA. It was tough lying quietly with the noise and running, screaming kids, but I did a very good job.

I went to work today and tonight I am at Andrea's.

Lightning's mom and I get along nicely. She loves to watch me eat and I love to eat! A match made in heaven!

Visiting

I got to spend some time with Andrea this week.

She made me listen like Mom does, but I like to snuggle, so I didn't mind.

I met Andrea's friend Brittany.

I tried to help with Andrea's homework, but it was sooo boring I fell asleep.

Me and Andrea had to work. I like Andrea's work. Here I am on the job!

Annie's 8th Birthday

No pictures so far, but Annie turns 8 years old today... Her birthday is 01/11/01. I don't know if we'll get extra treats later, but this afternoon we got to run in snow that was about a foot deep out in a huge fenced field. We had a blast and ran til we were pooped. Mom didn't bring the camera, so we just focused on running at top speed. I think Mom and Dad are going on a date later, but I don't know if I'm invited. hmmmm.

Mom took these pics a couple days ago, but we got more snow today and expect even more.

Next week it is supposed to get BITTER COLD. Mom is not happy about that.

Personally I like winter and snow a LOT!
